First there was my statement, which included in incorrect fees. Only following a half hour on the phone did I discover that I didn’t owe Verizon practically the equivalent of a month’s hire and there was an error. Next was the pixelation on my display, as Regulation & Order: SVU converted into right into a fuzzy variety. Yet another contact, and more than half an hour afterwards, I had been advised that if the issue is found in the line, maybe not my DVR, I Had be on the hook for a technology whose hourly rate might make an attorney blush. General, I Have had a pretty good experience with FiOS. Unsure if I Would be quite as satisfied with FiOS if I hadn’t changed from the demon that’s Comcast, but in comparing, FiOS is much preferred by me. One thing which irritates me is because they comprise a lot of channels, but maybe not, that they have levels of support and type of screw you to the simplest bundle. ESPN is needed by anybody using a man in your house! But I really haven’t had any technical problems, nor failures actually in bad-weather. When we had Comcast within my year of getting FiOS, we have only needed to reset the router once, compared to nearly weekly. In choosing between the alternatives in the area, FiOS is the best choice definitely, I think.
The headaches through all, the consumer support department — once I finally get a person on the phone after upwards of 1-5 minutes on-hold of Verizon — is a definite improvement over Comcast’s. The next time, the agent gave me his personal e-mail and supported me to let him know if my issue remained. All were apologetic, not unfriendly and intelligible.
Earlier this weekend introduced me to unparalleled rates of cable-rage. The season finale of The League recorded as planned, but would not play past the 2-minute tag. I recorded the next showing, which one froze, also. On Sunday night, stay television filled up; to view The Walking Dead, I needed to switch from highdef to regular every 10 minutes when one station quit operating. Homeland played through, but following the opening credits, the sound vanished.
